Any tips for getting into Syracuse University for some form of journalism?

I'm a high school sophomore, set to graduate with the class of 2013. I take all the advanced courses and Syracuse is my dream school, what with their top notch communications program and very nice campus. I know how competitive and cutthroat the competition is to get into Newhouse, and I want to have every trick up my sleeve for getting in. To brag: I have a 3.9 weighted GPA at my upstate NY high school, I am taking accelerated courses for every core class available and have a 97 in their journalism class. I also pulled a 26 on the PLAN test (top 2% amongst others in the nation) and I'm involved in after school activities, mostly focused around leadership amongst peers. I also captained the JV soccer team at my school after being appointed by my peers. Is there anything for me to improve upon or know for getting through Syracuse admissions and being accepted to attend? Thank you for any help you can give.
